LPS and University of North Texas staff members will be hosting an informational webinar about the UNT dual credit program. During the session, students and families will learn about the two-year, interdisciplinary program that serves high school juniors and seniors. Details covered in the webinar include program expectations, tuition discounts, college and high school credits earned, and much more!

Courses
The course program is a set pathway that focuses on the 42 semester credit hour Texas Core Curriculum. Core requirements are common to all public colleges and universities in Texas. A completed Texas Core Curriculum is fully transferable between public higher education institutions in Texas.

Enrollment
There is limited availability and if there is more interest than space available, a lottery process will be implemented.
Students must be logged in to their LPS Google Account in order to access the form They must have their test score reports ready to upload, before completing the form. Student's name and all scores must be visible.Application coming soon for the 24-25 school year

Enrollment Dates and Deadlines
- December 6 until spots filled: Program Application Window Open
- February 16: TSIA retakes available
- February 21: Notification of acceptance begins -- Lottery will be used if more than 60 qualified applicants.
- February 28: Deadline to accept program acceptance notification for initial applicants. Further acceptance notifications may be sent for any remaining vacancies filled.
- April 7: Last day to apply to UNT and have holds resolved
- April 13--30: Registration window for Fall 2023 classes
- April 26: Signing Day Event for new cohort
- July 11: Tuition or Tuition Payment Plan Deadline

College Readiness Scores

6 Math Diag- ACT 19 19 23 SAT 480 530 - PSAT 460 510 - Math College-Readiness Disclaimer: Students can be conditionally accepted as Rising 11th graders into Year 1 of the UNT Now! program. They will have until Spring of their junior year to earn the college-readiness math score required for Year 2 of the program. This will allow our students more time to build their math skills prior to taking UNT's Statistics course in the fall of their Senior year.
If your student is required to take the TSIA2 exam in order to meet UNT's college-readiness requirement.

Notification of Admission
Students must complete a Commitment Form within 48 hours of receiving the email to secure their seat in the program. Students who accepted admission will then be required to meet additional deadlines for enrollment. Failure to meet these deadlines will result in the loss of admissions.
If you do not receive admission initially, please continue to monitor your email because as students decline the opportunity, additional emails will go out offering admission to other students.
