Renee Dicus has over 10 years of experience all at LPS. She taught Special Education for 10 years and is now teaching 2nd grade. She graduated from Dallas Christian College with a bachelor's degree in business management and later went back and obtained her teaching certificate. She is certified to teach EC-6th grade and Special Education with certifications in GT and ESL. She and her husband have been married for over 30 years and were blessed with two amazing daughters that are both married. She has a new name, Nana, to their sweet grandbaby Hadley. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with family, crafting and serving in her church.
Emily Tobkin is excited to begin her second year of teaching at LPS Majestic Gardens. After teaching 2nd grade last year, she is thrilled to return to the same grade level, this time focusing on math and science—two subjects she enjoys bringing to life through hands-on learning and fostering curiosity. She is passionate about helping students grow into confident, kind leaders by encouraging responsibility, perseverance, and a positive mindset. In her classroom, students cheer each other on, celebrate progress, and take pride in their learning every day. Outside of school, Emily enjoys spending time with friends and family and has proudly called Texas home for nearly 10 years. She looks forward to another year filled with fun, growth, and discovery.
Lauren Badura is an enthusiastic educator in her fourth year of teaching and is excited to begin her first year at LPS. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Education for Early Childhood through 6th grade from the University of North Texas and holds an ESL certification. A lifelong resident of Texas, Lauren is dedicated to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.
