Throughout the school year, LPS employees and students may visit your child's classroom to cover activities and special events. Students may be highlighted in efforts to promote achievements and to document our school memories for the annual yearbook. 

Your child may be photographed, and/or interviewed and may be featured in materials for print by LPS Neaman Yearbook. 

At the beginning of the school year, families are asked to accept or deny media release for your student's image/likeness/voice/art or other creative work. 

Please note, by not granting media release at time of registration, your child may still appear in the LPS Neaman yearbook or LPS yearbook social media publications unless you submit written request to deny publication rights to LPS YEARBOOK via email to yearbook@lpsfrisco.net.

• • (Request must be received prior to the first fall picture day of the year [Oct. 7 for 2022/2023 school year] due to the publication schedule.)

• Your selection will be kept on file for future reference and will remain in effect unless revoked in writing by the parent/guardian.  
  • If you choose to select "do not grant" media release, otherwise known as "media denial" at the time of registration, your child's image and/or name will not be utilized in any publicly generated media (third party social media, newspapers, or video/audio news coverage or broadcast.) 
  • For outside, non-LPS media, permission is needed for your child to be the subject of any news media publicity. 

LPS is not responsible for any photos used by unauthorized or unofficial parent organizations, social groups or student-led projects (such as student-created academic videos.) Student leaders should follow Habit 8: Find your voice, and object to photo or video taken of them if necessary.
